Grow a mustache for Movember

Movember is a way to bring awareness to men's health issues and raise money for charities devoted to men's health issues such as prostate cancer. Grow a mustache - any kind of mustache for the month of November. Don't worry; you've still got time. Check out tenebrism's guide to Movember. And then, well, if you're growing a mustache, why not go all out and do something special with it, like a handlebar mustache? This video shows you how to wax one.

Write an awesome novel for NaNoWriMo

National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo for short, is a challenge to all aspiring writers everywhere to finally dust off that dusty manuscript in their drawers, or start a new one and actually finish it in the month of November. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in the span of 30 days. In this video, animated cartoons guide you through writing a great novel.

I don't know who decides on when to celebrate different foods for each month, but someone decreed that November is Peanut Butter Lovers Month. Why not celebrate with some great new recipes?
